Fundo Ancestrais do Futuro, Osklen, Instituto E e Recode

Recode Pro Aldeia is a full-stack technology training program for Indigenous peoples throughout Brazil.

There are 70 exclusive spots for Indigenous peoples, with 540 hours of technical classes and socio-emotional skill development to promote access to the job market and encourage entrepreneurship in the technology sector.

The program offers an opportunity for young Indigenous people to occupy space in the job market as full-stack programmers, working as junior developers or entrepreneurs. It also enables digital empowerment so that Indigenous peoples can develop solutions based on their experiences and perspectives to maintain the forest and the well-being of their communities in both Indigenous and urban settings.

The course program has four stages, including theoretical and practical learning: the selection process, bootcamp, talent fair, and hiring. Previous experience is not required.

This is a partnership that brings together Rede Recode, Instituto Alok with the Ancestral Futures Fund (Welight and UN Global Compact – Brazil), and Osklen with the E Institute, with the support of Mídia Índia.
